The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) announced on Thursday that Wayne Parnell and Vyshak Vijay Kumar will replace Reece Topley and Rajat Patidar, who are both injured, respectively, for the remainder of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Topley sustained a shoulder injury while fielding in RCB's opening match against Mumbai Indians (MI). Patidar, on the other hand, did not participate in the team's first match of the season due to a heel injury.
